Also if you are creating new topics could you avoid using ! in the title for the time being.

I've has a "Error 400: Bad request" whilst updating my profile settings.

I might be wrong but I think the issue is with the config.php file.

Nah, it's a mod_security issue.  Waiting for hosting provider to make a few alterations.

Which settings were you changing when you got the error?

Hopefully most of these issues have now been resolved, but if anyone is still receiving errors when posting or making profile changes, please do let me know.

Re-using this thread to say: apologies to anyone who had trouble posting attachments over the last day or two.  We'd somehow managed to fill another pair of hard drives, and I can't blame DF this time.

With another pair added, we should be fine for a while, although I am planning on moving the site to our own server soon as we seem to have worn this one out quite quickly.  More as and when.

I'm planning on moving the site to its new server late this evening.

To ensure no posts are lost, the current (old) server will be taken off-line once the migration begins.  Once everything has been transferred, the old server will remain off-line and, as the changes take hold throughout the internet (a process you can speed up by restarting your router), members will automatically start using the new server.

For most people, everything should be back to normal by the morning.

If you can read this, you are now using the new servers.

A handful of classifieds were lost in the process, so if you submitted one in the last few days, please feel free to head on over and re-submit them.

We're expecting to need a couple of days to check things over properly, but if you notice anything strange, please let myself or one of the moderators know.
