took some quick snaps whilst cleaning the car, mainly to show my autobrite snow lance in action.
You only need an inch in the plastic bottle then fill up with water. The knob on top of the lance is used
to control the thickness of snow foam you need, had it set to about half way on the pictures you see,
it will go on twice as thick, like clotted cream, if you turn the knob onto full, half way is a good setting if the car
is not to dirty. Second picture shows car after about six minutes, ready for rinsing, once i have done this i then
spray Autosmart tango all over the car and rinse again, this tops up the wax finish and gives a really nice shine.
jobs a good un Thumb Up

mmm good point, will do before and after shots next time draigflag, i never let it get that
dirty though thats the trouble. The autosmart actimousse is really good stuff, it will move
99% of the dirt, will just leave some stuborn bits baked on fly's, and tar etc
i wondered where that gigling was coming from sjh. Grin

Kev, what ratio product to water do you use? Everytime I've used my foam lance I'm asked to clean my neighbours cars.

I mix mine around 1:5, 200ml or so, still experimenting with different mixes. I buy 25 litre at a time of the Autosmart actimousse,
split it with my brother, its 35 quid, but times the 25 litres by five and you have, alot, lasts ages. There is an Autosmart shop in sheffield
although, normalyl trade only, but they will sell you any product to you, cash only.

So this "Snow lance" thingy, does it fit other models too such as Karcher etc? Or is it a model specific piece?

Will do ta! Not sure what model mine is, it's a big bugger thinks it's the "KARCHER - there-goes-mystripes" but presumably all Karcher models are compatible. I'll check it out  Thumb Up

All karchers are bayonet i think. Aim the water straight at the stripes, you will be ok, mine are still on. Thumb Up

I think i paid that for mine, quite expensive i know, but should last a lifetime, very well made piece of kit.
My brother had the karcher one but not a patch on this one, he has since purchased the autobrite lance
There are cheaper alternatives. Have a look on detailing world website, there is alot of info on there about lances.
hope this helps.

I think most of the 'domestic' Karchers are bayonet. The more 'pro' ones screw in.
