Size matters, the smaller the better.  At least for cars, that is ;D.  The original Fiat 500 and 850 ruled.  I've always lived on that principle, small, nippy cars.

I agree - certainly for quick cars.   Fast cars should be small and light, and large cars should waft.   I've never been particularly into big heavy powerful cars - BMW M5s, AMG Mercs, that kind of thing - just seems an awful lot of momentum if you get it wrong!

We've got an X5 to transport the 4 kids and an Abarth for just us!

The X5 is not the most practical car but is absolutely fantastic in so many ways. The Abarth is, well, you guys no how great that is!

Ps - my average MPG is worse on the Abarth than the X5 so the tree huggers all need to trade in I'm afraid!

Its only done 3.5k miles and the tyres are rounding off on the corners.  :thumbd:

Its a completely different driving style most of the time; low and slow baby   8) (well pretty high and slow actually but you get the drift...)

To be honest though, it seems to be shrinking around me and doesn't mind being hustled to badly down the local country lanes.

I find best way to drive AMGs Porsche etc is to drive my mates & then give it back & then say I still prefer mine! Friend with Conti still smiles every time he sees mine or gets in it!! & his wife gives him earache for, her words driving an old mans car & he is early 30s!
