I hate cities and the people that come with them. We used to live in Leicester, my Dad was a top salesman, he made the local papers after selling £3,000,000 worth of business in just 3 months. But then we went to Wales and were blown away by the beautiful scenery and general laid back attitude of everyone and everything. Found a Victorian Mansion going cheap, renovated it slightly and have run it as a B&B since 1997.
Due to high running costs, the B&B pays for the upkeep of the house, so my Dad still has to go to Leicester every week, but i know even with the extra work and travelling he is happier here, we all are. Just 10 minutes away is the beautiful beach, and you can see the Dolphins jumping in the sea in the summer. In the 15 years we have lived here, i've been in 1 traffic jam which was 1 mile long. There are no motorways, roundabouts and very few speed cameras. You can find roads with no cars on at all and can drive as fast or as slow as you wish. It's our little patch of Paradise, and it's free!
