It would appear Spring has been skipped this year. The past 3 days over here in Wales have been cloudless vibrant blue skies and bright sunshine! It's been so hot in the afternoon I've been working in a T-shirt, OK not that hot, but a good 17 degrees or so. This is a very good sign of things to come i hope, we've not had rain for what seems like months. I always feel the need to post about good weather i suppose, one reason being to help restore people's faith in the weather patterns of "wet Wales" and the other just because i am someone who feels happy when it's sunny!  Grin

There is still a bit of snow on the mountain tops, but anybody else wondering where spring went?

Cold, very cold but sunny here last two days. I actually want it to rain to get the salt off the roads.

Minus 4 here in sussex are you sure you're not in spain df?? Still it is lovely and sunny. I was in swansea last week and it was definitely raining so you must have your own microclimate down your way! Wink

As Keith Richards tells it, Jones came up with the name "The Rollin' Stones" (later with the 'g') while on the phone with a venue owner. "The voice on the other end of the line obviously said, 'What are you called?' Panic. The Best of Muddy Waters album was lying on the floor—and track one was 'Rollin' Stone Blues'".

Interesting fact :  Apparently, if you look at when the flowers first appear, it takes 2 weeks for spring to travel from the South coast to the North of Scotland and you could actually walk faster than spring!  It certainly hasn't reached Northumberland yet !

Well the snow drops are out in my garden but the daffs aren't got to be about 6 weeks late at the moment!

First decent day of sun, fresh tyres on the mountain bike, things were looking promising until after a mile when one of the pedals seized. I may have to make the most of the good weather and give the Abarth another bath.
