Wow, what a good Moto GP race. Casey Stoner won on his Ducati and Rossi made it to the 9th world championship of his life. Totally awesome. Any other Rossi and Ducati fans out there, by any chance. 46 and 27. Cheers Carol Title oblique-ified - olopboy

I watched the race, and it looked as if Rossi was back to his old ways. Slipping behind, working out where the grip was, and then one by one picking off the riders in front to get to 4th where he needed to be.
He is not the world champion for nothing. can't wait for next season.

Fairly boring race (the 250 was much better until Simoncelli ran out of energy) but Rossi was brilliant in qualifying.
Stoner was like night and day between qualifying and the race.
How long before Rossi completely psyches out Lorenzo?
Next year should be interesting. Simoncelli has already proved he can adapt to bigger bikes with his performance in WSB. Aoyama should do the job. Bautista seems to have lost the plot recently and Barbera is fairly useful. Toseland has done nothing of note in MotoGP and Dovi seems to be lost at the moment. Talmacsi is getting nowehere but Espargaro has made a promising debut.
It would be good to see Melandri go well on the Gresini Honda.
2010? Probably Rossi again after a hard struggle. Then a move to Ducati for 2011=2012.

Rossi move to Ducati, it would not work too many Italian egos.
Fararri only became successful when they got a German driver, Jon Todt and Ross Brawn to bang their heads together.

Needsmust, hope you have a great time, and I am incredibly envious too. You may actually catch some sunshire whilst there. Whilst I am more likely to catch snow in Munich next week. Enjoy!!! Carol
