SLS AMG

I want one.  In red.  But I don't have that kind of money.   :(

And there was a guy in Switzerland recently who drove it at 290 kph and got fined a lot of money.  He should have kept to the Autobahn, rather than crossing the Swiss border  ;D

I am certain there are some things that can justify a speed of 290 kph, such as a Merc SLS AMG. ;D

That would be the first thing I would buy if I won the lottery.

If im totally honest IF i had the money, i could think of about 10 -15 other cars i would buy before i would even consider looking @ this!

The mrs works for Mercedes and has driven this. She said its overrated. I can see her point.

So if your missus thinks it's overrated, where did she drive it? In the UK?  Yes, it would be overrated here. But I can just see someone coming at me at twice my speed on the Autobahn next week.  And I still maintain, I want one.  Only to complement my GPA of course, and go a bit faster

I actually really love the shape of this car, unmistakably a Merc, undoubtedly a Super car, but it has so much class and elegance. Might have to buy one if i win the Lotto too!

(or sell the house without the parents knowing )

I do like the SLS....... it appeals far more than the Mclaren Mercedes SLR which never really excited me.

Much was made of the fact that tall people would have to be very careful not bash their heads on the gull-wing doors when getting in and out. I don't have that problem (I am only 5'6") but, as I found out when I had a good poke around the display car at Silverstone last month, when I am sitting in the driver's seat, reaching up to grab the door and shut it is quite a challenge!

If I had this amount of money to spend on a car like this, I think I'd want an Alfa 8C Competizione on the drive....... not only do they look just stunning, the noise they make is quite incredible. I've been lucky enough to encounter a couple of them on the road, one at the summit of the Klausen Pass and one at the top of the Stelvio. People appeared from everywhere to gaze in adulation!

I saw an 8C in a local village a few miles away! Had only just come out as well, must have been testing it on the Welsh roads! Nearly wet myself when it drove off, amazing car. Yea, i would rather an 8C too actually
