Si, some cars seem to be prone to popping and others do not. Ours was driven by a seasoned driver who could make his car pop at will, he struggled with ours.  :thumbd:

Mine doesn't pop very often. Only ever drunk V-Power.

Iv only got 6k on the clock and only at about 4k it started to pop all of a sudden.i was getting annoyed when it wasnt popping but its come alive all of a sudden.I use tesco momentum or v power, i do find they run smoother however , did however once put normal unleaded and it still popped.

You must first master the art of banging and then you pop  ;D

Seriously now, usually at around 3,000rpm full throttle dip the clutch and 9/10 theres a pop or even a double pop. The monza now does it at will and sounds very throaty after a long run.

I was going mad when i first got mine but now i know her inside out

In my 30000+ mile experience, pops and bangs have been totally to do with my exhaust change and nothing to do with the fuel.  I didn't get them with the standard exhaust but can get them whenever I want with the Ragazzon.
No Shell near me so it's just regular Jet stuff nearly all of the time.  I've found Tesco regular doesn't get me as far as Jet and Tesco Momentum 99 isn't worth the extra.  Gets about the same mileage as Jet regular and no obvious performance difference, just a bigger dent in the credit card.

You must first master the art of banging ;D. Giggle.  Scorpi does not pop ever, that's an A500 thing. He just runs better on VPower.  The art of banging indeed.  ROFL. :thumb:

v power makes it pop ! ... hold the revs longer , lift slightly and change up ......... pop ! seems to work on mine. weather/air temp/air quality makes a difference tho, some days ... nothing.
