Hhm, maybe they are thinking of acquiring a real car and scan what we say about ours. If that were the case, the grin on my face never goes away when driving.   ;D

I do have the suspicion that many people want an Abarth but don't buy one because of the long wait to acquire a new one
talking to Sean at Platts he told me he gets 4-5 potential customers a week walk out of the showroom because they cant get a new one straight away :( .... does make all ours a little more special though  ;D so i guess the same thing could be happening here people sign up because they want one and intend buying one, then the three month wait sends them running off to buy something boring instead  :D

Most people who are used to buying 'ordinary' cars just walk into a dealership and buy one out of the dealer storage park. Those used to buying something a little bit special know it's par for the course, getting a car built to order, and having to wait.

Those 'lucky' manufacturers who have strong demand can manage it this way, and not have to give away discounts.

It's the old case of building one car less than demand.

I have been lucky with most of my Alfa's by simply asking what the dealer has already ordered (usualy to put in the showroom) and then being flexible over trim/options, by doing this ive managed to own one of the first 159ti's in the country and my Spider LE was the same :)
But as i wasnt in a rush for the A500 i was adamant that i had my exact spec   8)
