My AGP is having its ss turbo etc fitted this week, if i were to buy 1 of these tuning boxes aswell then what sort of power output would i realistically be looking at getting? Just a rough idea.

And most importantly would i get 1 at the group buy price?

Cheers

Ashley

it said somewhere earlier in this thread that your looking around 200bhp with the AGP SS turbo..... the standard turbo is deffinatly what is holding the standard car back from more power, as for the group buy price.... i cant answer that! Wink im sure he will reply soon though Darron seems to be quite active on here!

On the A500, I’m wondering how can such effective increases in power be achieved by simple electronic management and no mechanical / component alterations.?

In particular, the torque increases that see such useable and effective improvements in third and fourth gear acceleration, while not noticeably increasing activity on the turbo boost pressure display.

Without giving away your secrets, what is altered to achieve these gains?

Can the transmission safely cope with these 3rs and 4th gear torque increases?

If it’s so simple, why don’t Fiat / Abarth offer or use this method (the answer is most likely so that they can charge £2800 for the SS upgrade).

hose clamp pliers! You will need to remove hosing to access the engine. And then to reattach the hose you will need to reconnect the clamps, which are a real ba*tard without special pliers. Not impossible, but a ba*tard

on the 500 you don,t need to undo any hoses, the engine cover and airbox will tilt out of the way, on the AGP you need to unclip and redo the pipes, circlip pliers needed Thumb Up

Ours has definately improved. 36/37 MPG going to silverstone last week Thumb Up
If you are thinking you will lose out on the Mpg if you fit a tmc box dont, it will at worst stay the same. On the other hand if you come
on one of our driveouts and you 'drive it like its stolen'  dont look at the MPG Whistle
