how much extra power from the sticker? can the dealers detect the sticker?, would a proper badge not give more power?
sticker gives another 3 bhp due to size.as size matters. Shocked
dealer hasnt seen car since he sold it as hes never there. Embarrassed
weight is the isue so a metal badge adds weight Whistle

It probably won't be due its first service till 2085 as it only comes out once a month providing its not raining Whistle By the way Dave I've managed to trim and modify the stickers to get an extra 5 bhp, the new one is more streamlined, I had it tested in a wind tunnel. Crazy

I can source you a brake upgrade kit or some racing pads no probs. I did get some stickers made but didn't like how they turned out. I'll hopefully have some new and more importantly good looking ones quite soon.
Do you think people would prefer them to stick to the bodywork or inside of the front or rear screen?

Wanted to add my thoughts to the forum having just fitted TMC box to my SS.  Not quite what I expected from reading the forums in that the real gains are a very noticable increase in mid range torque rather than from 4K to redline - blower still drops off the boil the further up the rev range you go.  4th and 5th from 3K up are now epic and I quite easily managed to hold onto a maxxed out 2010 Cooper S in these gears on the way back from a 300 mile trip yesterday. 5th is now a proper usable gear whereas I used to have to drop to 4th to get any meaningful high speed acceleration.

Overall, the car is transformed - all SS oweners whould have one of these!

Thanks Daron!

What about running a stock Abarth 500 with TMC in much hotter regions than N.I. where it was developed?
I already had to find a decent IC to maintain the power in the summer; how can you see a TMC running there? Will it deliver the same as in Belfast?  Wave
