16"
« on: March 14, 2013, 06:15:56 pm »
Anyone got a pic of their car on aftermarket 16" alloys?
Looking to get new wheels and I think 17's will be too big and look silly on such a low car.

16"s  look too small  :thumbd: the vast majority of 500's run 17"s and look all the better for it  8)

I don't think any one has put 16s aftermarket wheels on.

I've posted somewhere else but couldn't find the original post, but there is a thread of an owner that doesn't post anymore who hd 16" Speedlines which looked really nice with a dropping ride height.

I wouldn't  ever put 16" on .... But I bet the quality of ride must be improved but the sportiness goes down the pan .....surely?

    17's look nicer.
Took the old 500 down to London on 17's and drove the new 500c back on 16's got to say the car
felt much better ride wise coming home, i had a direct comparison on the same day.
Still wont stop us putting 17's on the car though ;D

Not necessarily  a good comparison as the 500c has different suspension.
