17's look nicer.
Took the old 500 down to London on 17's and drove the new 500c back on 16's got to say the car
felt much better ride wise coming home, i had a direct comparison on the same day.
Still wont stop us putting 17's on the car though ;D

Not necessarily  a good comparison as the 500c has different suspension.
Yes necessarily. I know it has the fsd valving on the front thats all. The 16s make a big diffrence in ride quality, not only on the 500c, but on the standard 500 too.

Not to split hairs but based on another thread on here the springs are also different.

Following recent discussions about which springs are on which of the current 500 range i have updated my parts list.

there are 3 different rear springs in use,

    Standard 135 hp             51805424
    500C                             51859960
    Comp, Turismo,Maserati  51939102

this reads slightly differently to the previous version which suggested turismo/comp were both different depending on whether they were convertible or tin top.

the mods were  made to the suspension spec from october 2012 so the situation should have settled down on new cars coming through now :thumb:

I've posted somewhere else but couldn't find the original post, but there is a thread of an owner that doesn't post anymore who hd 16" Speedlines which looked really nice with a dropping ride height.

    This one?

How long were you researching that ;D
Still most people who have driven a 500 on 16s and 17's will tell you the ride is better on 16's despite it being a
500c (on a slightly different suspension setup) or a 500.
Have you driven on 16's and 17's by the way, what is your view.

Running on 16" and enjoy the all round perfromace.

I prefer the look of the 17" but i think the updated standard 8 spoke gives them a goid run for their money.
