200 Cell Cat Install
« on: November 15, 2014, 09:40:18 am »
I am about to start seriously talking to some exhaust shops about installing my TMC Sports cat (amongst other related items)

Question - for the installation do you need to remove the front bumper or can it be done from below

Cheers

I have seen one changed without taking the bumper off. The car was on a lift so they could work on it from above and below and they knew what they were doing. Space was very tight.

I am taking to an exhaust shop (once I find one that I trust) - just wanna give them some directions.

I have paint protection on the car so not that keen about having someone take the bumper off.

I don't think you will need to take the front bumper off if you're only after the cat, it won't give you any more space for work. The bumper holds the lights and only covers the radiator, intercooler and stuff.

That is a good point - actually
