At the moment Europe is ahead of the game as they've had it longer to play with. Nothing yet seems to have made it to the UK but I dare say it will.

Most of the development work seems to be based on the GP and its derivatives (AGP & Mito) although something will cross over. Having heard the you-tube clips of the G-tech exhausts they are louder but they lose the cheekiness of the standard pipes which is a huge shame imho as that's what seperates the Abarth 500s from a barryboy beancan 'o' death exhaust. Opposed to the AGP which needs an exhaust change  ;).

At the moment most UK people are still playing around with decisions over the SS upgrades, although I am aware you're SS'd up already.

I don't think asking the dealer would result in much. As mentioned Gtech do some nice parts. What exactly are you looking for? If it is more HP then a "normal" remap can be done for £250 upto 160bhp. Over that you'll be looking for a lot of ££££ if you want reliability. I wanted to do a remap but after 3 months and 3k on the clock I have found the standard car up to scratch but if I had £1k I would remap it and upgrade the disks and pads, still cheaper than the £2750 quoted for the SS.

Use the money on good fuel and service and maybe a track day.

Ragazzon have an exhaust available for the 500A.

    http://www.ragazzon.it/

No prices at present. You can contact Gazzella Racing or Balance Motorsport. Gazzella are also ahowing brake and suspension mods.

I bought my Ragazzon exhaust from Gazella. About a three week wait.

cheers, yes i am ss'ed and really pleased.   Looks like your on grey aswell !   Hayward and Scott are supposed to be developing an exhaust ,i should imagine theirs will be good.   But i agree that going too far will spoil it.  Just looking to see if anything has surfaced yet ...Surely bits from the Assetto Course could be obtainable ?

Not really looking for any power upgrades ..quick enough ,but fancy some Integrale noise and hissy dump valve etc !

From snooping around the Italian forums there are, apparently, going to be some new seats arriving shortly (here in Italy) from Abarth, produced by Sabelt. There are some pictures around as they were shown at Geneva and the "My Special Car" show here in Italy. Somebody posted a note saying they would be available in Leather or, optionally, cloth. They look really good but will cost a packet. They have what appears to be a fiberglass rear shell to them that may only be available in white. You may loose the side (seat) airbags. The same seats were shown fitted in a GPA.
The other rumour is for a dual more exhaust, again supposedly shown at the "My Special Car" show, that lets out more sound over 4k RPM.
By the way the abarth web site www.abarth.it is due to get an update and that may be when some of the items get introduced (pure speculation on my part).

The seats and exhaust according to discussions held with Abarth Head honcho on Saturday would seem to be for the GP, details and rumour mongering can be found here

One of these guys says, and my Italian is not great, that he tried the leather ones in an Abarth 500 on 4th May....
another note is that they are a little lower but not a lot, I think...

EDIT: See Page 1 of the link, picture of the seats in a 500.

Hmm a little lower you say? For my driving position that would help immensely.

Given the delay between Europe getting stuff, to the UK getting it I'm not going to enter into any breath holding contests however.

Ah yes clearly shows seats for 500, Ivan was just talking to GPers at the time so we've probably misunderstood.

Hmm want more deatils now if it has a proper lowering mech I would actually shell out money on those

When they say lower it's not a lot lower, I suppose you could say just a touch lower. Somebody reacons 1400 to 1900 Euro. Don't know if thats for a pair or each.

From saturday's discussion I would suspect a pair.

I wonder if they'll become available in red?

I doubt it sadly and that could be the other hurdle for me other than the eye watering price tag.

There was a press release from Abarth, in Italian, in the middle of May re the accessories. It also mentioned something about Blue & Me with telemetry (I thought that was already out unless it's something additional). A portion of the press releaseit, translated by Google, says:
"Obviously, the public can also enjoy other accessories such as seats "Abarth Racing powered by Sabelt and unloading of a" dual mode "back to the variable that can enhance the" sound "of the engine above 4000 rpm . These contents, mounted on the Grande Punto Abarth SuperSport, will soon be available for all Abarth."
So, perhaps, the exhaust will also be available for the 500
