Hi all,

I thought I would share my thoughts on modifications to my 595 competizione.
When I bought the car and jumped in I was extremely disappointed with the performance at the standard 180ps. (Sold my Sierra 3 door cosworth-337ps)
So then I started modifying it started with a stage 2 map and induction / 200 cell cat / atm intercooler/ Alfa 4c coil packs.
That was better and made 195ps full boost at 1.6 bar came in at 3000rpm , torque was 320nm.
Then I decided to change the compressor wheel on the gt1446 to a billet 38mm inducer and a 52mm exducer with extended tips to 56mm.
On this set-up the power band moved up slightly full boost 1.6 bar came in at 3.300 rpm with a max torque of 350mn and 217ps.
The clutch then started to slip so I fitted a lighten flywheel and dual fiction clutch capable of handling over 385 nm
At this stage it seemed like a good idea to change the turbo and manifold, so I fitted a Garrett 2252 turbo - specs - compressor- inducer 40mm / exducer - 52mm / ar housing 51.  Turbine - inducer - 50mm / exducer - 42.8mm / exhaust ar - 47.
I also changed the manifold to a stainless tube high flow unit, I kept a 200 cell Kat inline with a resonator in the standard Monza exhaust.
The car now comes on full boost at 1.6 bar at 3,500 rpm with a max torque of 360nm and a max power of 255ps.
The car is fantastic prior to this setup the car ran out of steam at 5200 rpm now it pulled all the way to the limiter at 7,200rpm
