Abarth from the states needs advice (TD04)
« on: October 29, 2020, 01:08:41 pm »
Hey everyone! Ive been reading this forum for a bit and decided to join up.

To jump into my questions :  Ive run as far as I can go with American suppliers regarding getting the most performance out of my car. Everything over here ends up being around the 190-200hp mark. I would really like to push to 250hp. Ive been seeing you guys getting to those numbers pretty consistently. Might as well ask the people in the know.

Im actually not very familiar with the European companies that would deal with performance parts for these cars. Who do you recommend I look at for a TD04 Kit and tune? I would need an off the shelf tune since I couldn't get it out there to a dyno for a proper work out and I would be the one doing the install for the swap. Let me know your thoughts. My Current setup below. Thank you!

2015 500 Abarth
Auto transmission ( i know i know..6th gear is nice tho )
Catless downpipe with Mpx axleback
Tork valve springs
ATM Fenderwell intake
EC stage 2 tune
Brisk racing plugs, Maxfire coils, Forge WGA

I'm presuming this will be a Multiair engine not the Tjet we have over here?

Thats correct! its a Multiair. Would that be the coffin nail to lag me behind any configuration?  Ive seen some folks slap the TD04 on the multi-air and run it. I suppose the main question would be a tune which im hoping someone might know a vendor that would provide one off the shelf.
