I still cant understand why you cant get the kit in Holland? To order an Esse Esse kit in the U.K. should take about 10 days. The last couple I've had have taken a bit longer but not that much.  Maybe its something to do with customs rules in Holland?
John  you forget that the kits you are getting are for the GPA. Euroboy has a 500 and the rumour ( please dont shout at me ) from contacts in Italy is that they are selling like hot cakes for the 500

You are right, but we put in the order for some 500 Esse Esse kits yesterday and we were told there would be no problem in getting them. Time will tell if thats right. I hope not anyway, my Funk white with red leather is crying out to be Esse Esse'd

Yup the problem seems to be for the 500 - local demand in Italy is taking all the supply.

If you manage to get a kit in 10days i might be knocking down your door in the near future, just for convinience and piece of mind!

Italy might tell you 10 days-  but then in my experience of Italian cars, Italy often say one thing and deliver another!!

The dealer here in Holland has had no problem getting the GPA SS kit - its the 500 thats the problem.

Well maybe they have some set aside for the U.K. launch.
Fiona, I cant believe you are still waiting. Maybe the order got lost on route to Turin. Get your dealer to chase it up.

In that case then I think a bit of common sense would have to prevail.

The date would go by the order date because that is when we take the reading with the "examiner" system and send it to Turin.

ah I see. so i guess abarth do get to see when the car was bought/ss kit ordered/Fitted then .... i was always woundering about this because if abarth had no way of keeping track of when the kit where fitted then the dealerships could fit them whenever... (if they where dishonest!)

No, every kit is matched to a chassis number and then compiled in Turin.

Good example Mitch, but with some serious chassis, brake and suspension mods to the Mustang from aftermarket suppliers makes it a good race car.

The assetto 500 is a race car and has modified brakes and chassis mods in the name of a serious roll cage. It probably can take 265bhp but do you want to drive a race car on the road. it would probably get blown away by something with less power but more suited for the road.

Until someone test drives an esseesse properly on the road you will not know if it worth it.

Whilst I have seen the Mustang's raced, knowing someone who has bought a GT4 car, it isn't a natural racing car. Afterall it's just too heavy.

Weight is always key otherwise everything else you do is just compensation. The A500 isn't a drag racer so the power race is only going to get you so far. Another argument in my favour that handling tweaks are the way forward.
