Eibach Pro Kit Springs

Hey does anyone use these?

Would like to lower my car alil bit like the SS but would like it to be slightly stiffer around the corners.

Any info would be great

    If memory serves me right a member called Cliff uses them on his 595

    Might be an idea to ask him  :thumb:

    I've got them on mine. I've had them on for 11 months and 12,000 miles so far and they've been great. And they're not stupidly low either :thumb:

    I've attached (hopefully) some pictures to give a feel for their looks / ride height.

    Fit them to mine about 2 weeks ago (also fitted 595 shocks - Cofaps with FSD), chopped down rear bump stops to allow a bit more suspension travel at the back. Ride lower, but no problem with speed bumps (yet), also car levelled out more front to back. Ride is definetly harder than NP Abarth, but not excessive, definitely corners better (less leaning), although the standard setup is a lot better than you might think when you really push it.  ;D

    Has somebody tried "Red" Eibach Sportline (lower than ProKit)? Is avaliable for Abarth 500?

    Thanks guys, the pictures really help, I just want it to roughly be the same height as the SS but handle abit better then standard, looks like I'm going to get these :)

    This car still scares me in the wet :S but this could be down to the cheap tyres that are on the car

    I can vouch for the H&R Kit.  Pretty much the same drop, feels softer on normal driving, reduces that jiggly feeling, but push hard and there's less body roll.  All down to the progressive nature of the springs.

    Sportline springs look great, had them fitted they handle great too.

    But they are rock hard so avoid anything bigger than a matchstick in the road!

    Granted I have no experience with H&R ....but according to Italian Abarth forum they are generally considered stiffer than the Pro Kit (which I do have on my car)

    I am very happy with the Pro Kit.... far less bouncy that the standard NP springs

    Been running them since May and they've bedded in nicely.  Certainly softer under normal driving than the std springs, as you say less boucy, jiggly.  Quite progressive so much reduced body roll, more compliant over rough surfaces, but come into their own when cornering hard.

    Certainly no need to change the dampers with these, they work well together.

    How are these cars when you just change the springs ?

    I've always had a poor ride quality with other cars when you use lowering springs
    and don't go for coilovers ect.

    From what I'm reading it sounds like the Abarths are ok and ride quality isnt lost

    As above.... better.  Companies like H&R and Eibach know that people only change the springs so they make them a reasonable match.  Drop is 25mm/30mm but that over standard not Abarth.  I reckon my drop is about 20/25mm, sonot going to cuase any issue, eg bottoming out, with std shocks.

    How much lower than an SS do you reckon the H&R springs are?  Thinking of a change...
