haha same here - i work from home, and most of my journeys are low mileage urban trips (hence my average 30mpg!). the ss kit would be serious overkill for me on what was already a premium priced car for what it is. definitely a 100% luxury purchase rather than a necessity - a 1.2 pop or something similar would have been the sane choice, and im sure thats a perfectly good runaround which is really all i need now.

but hey, i justify it by saying you only live once and all that stuff - and it is loads of fun

yes but no-one in their right mind would pay anything near the abarth price for what would not technically be a new set!
