Hey, just fitted lowering springs to 695 and I've noticed since driving it, it was a bit knock, kind of expected that. But on looking under the bonnet it looks like the top mount is floating when the car is static. Is this right???? Anyone else done this?

Apologies the first post was a bit crap as for the life of me i cant attach any images. Had a second attempt at taking the top hat of the mount and then raised the car off the deck to check the shock assembly. As far as i can tell  the shock is mounted correctly as the top mount aligns with the witness marks inside the wheel arch. i then lowered the car again and re-attached the and tightened up the top nut with an impact driver and then double checked it with a ring spanner and allen key. Couldnt tighten it any further but still the top hat looks like its floating off the metalwork.

If anyone can tell me how to add pics ill post some. Just need to know if this is normal?
