G-Tech Engineering gmbh.
« on: March 03, 2009, 10:40:35 am »
G-Tech Engineering GMBH is a German company that tunes both the AGP and the 500 - dont get them confused with G-tech.de who are simply a styling company.  All the Italians who are tuning their Abarths up to around 260BHP with Scorpion tuning are actually using G-Tech kit.  G-tech are based at Lake Konstanz in SW Germany, but im in the process of finding out if they have regional outlets.

I have their pricelist info in .PDF, but its all in German - i have added a couple of choice pages to this post as a word document, but if you email them they will send you the full shebang, including RR printouts and fitting guides etc.  The quality of thier kit looks to be amazing and they have been tuning the Abarths since they were released in Europe, so a lot longer than the UK boys.

Here is their email:

info@g-techgmbh.de

Here is a youtube of thier full exhaust system:

I think I am fairly likely to get their full system, tuning chip with guarantee and probably the dump valve next month - im just waiting to find out if I need to drive to Lake Konstanz to do it!!

Does an aftermarket remap void the warranty?

I find the following video a better comparison of the exhausts from standard to the G-Tech.

Im in the process of finding out from them now - hopefully I will have an email from them tomorrow.  You can find their website on Google by searching for g-tech engineering gmbh; but there is hardly anything on it, just the email adress and a small video.

Their youtube channel seems to be the best source of info - ask them for an AGP booklet and they will email it to you. :thumb:

Does sound a lot better, but if we were all to pimp our cars how will you tell how much better than standard yours is?

I'm destined to be a yard stick in life ;D

you can order both these products exhuast and the tuning box through this website https://www.mw-motorsport.eu/
which is all in english, g-tech products seem to be made TUV standards and are widely used by the guys in italy, but of course the dealers oh no spend 4.5 grand on the esseesse lol ;D

this topic will not turn into a "slate the ss kit thread" else its getting closed.

its 4 grand by the way. :)

i dont mind after sales products at all and that G-Tech exhaust sounds mint. but people will choose which they want. i see no reason to slag either of them off as they both have good and bad points.

cheers guys. keep it friendly :) (before it turns into another map V SS thread)

I'm quite liking the G-Tech exhaust idea for mine, assuming I don't find a way to get hold of a SuperSport...
