Calliper Painting
« on: September 20, 2014, 08:52:08 pm »
Can anybody recommend a good calliper paint? Also, is it fairly easy to do yourself or better to get someone to do it professionally?

I have recently done mine, I used 2 pac red paint, its nice and thick so flows out nicely when it dry's when applying with a brush, they look like they have been sprayed. I run a paint shop,so have access to various paints, 2 pac is a lot stronger than the caliper paint you get from halfords, the halfords one tends to fade quickly in time.

Hammerite smooth silver in the tin. Lasted 12k so far and still looks fresh.
