Just so you know, if you do go above 250 hp, the first thing to go will be the CV joints. The box will be OK.

To upgrade them you'll need to fit stronger driveshafts, with CV's from the AC car. Also, the driveshafts need to be custom you can't use AC driveshafts as they are designed for the 6 speed box. There is loads of info on this in my thread.

PS my head gasket went only because the fan on my car was not reconnected after it had some work performed on it. An unfortunate accident.
As Keith Richards tells it, Jones came up with the name "The Rollin' Stones" (later with the 'g') while on the phone with a venue owner. "The voice on the other end of the line obviously said, 'What are you called?' Panic. The Best of Muddy Waters album was lying on the floor—and track one was 'Rollin' Stone Blues'".

For the cv joints keep an eye out for leaking grease from the rubber boots.  Also when the steering is turned when going around corners you'll hear a clicking or knocking as the wheels turn.

what sensors did you change?? injectors i still haven't but after speaking to a number of mappers I'm going to upgrade them next week but i still now have to wait a month to get my car mapped!! but at the moment is 205 bhp 301nm

once its done i saved over 2k on the other places offering 250 bhp with the garage i went to :)

Also did you guys have you fog lights removed for the intercooler to fit??

no my intercooler just clears the fogs

i had to change map sensors

200hp on standard map  so what boost is it running now  is it 1.2 bar or is it higher deu to so meny bits  being changed

is there a set boost you are going to take it to  like 1.5 so it will be safe on the pistons and rods and see what you get

or are you going to just up the boost until you get 250 and leave it at that

looking forward to seeing the graph when it is done  :thumb: :thumb:

im not quite sure on what boost is running as they was suppose to change the gauge when they went to swap them over the engine went in to limb mode so there making a resistor to sort that problem but on the original  gauge its boosts to 1.5 and settles around the 1.2 mark but jumps about like crazy so dont really know untill either the gauge gets changed or when the mappers sort it out, i was going stright to 250 bhp with the host but after reading a few of your threads and others I've ordered the pistons and rods cams now so want somethink near 300 which my turbo was built for  :)
