I got a Quantum tuning map for my Turismo
« on: July 14, 2020, 05:56:44 pm »
As the subject title says.

I can't recommend it enough. It's like night and day difference. A stated extra 90Nm (66ft/lb) torque and 15hp (up from 165 to 180). It's just brilliant and feels so much better to drive now. That extra pull is awesome and was expecting such a difference like that.

It's really how the car should come from the factory and tbh is what I was expecting from the turismo (wishful thinking).

So, without a doubt, for those of you who are thinking about it or on the fence like I was, just go for it, you really won't be disappointed. That extra hp is nice, same as comp now, but all that extra torque is even better and comes in a few hundred revs earlier than stock.

No regrets whatsoever, it has put a smile on my face that's for sure.

    Hi there,

I had mine done by Car Clinic/SCC in St Albans, all prices are as stated on the Quantum tuning website, so £349 in my case.
I now have all the power I could ever wish for, absolutely don't need any more after this particular remap. They really are experts in their field. I researched extensively and spoke to various companies claiming 205,210 and 215 hp just from a remap, but in the end, I prefered the peace of mind of going with a trusted and highly professional company where I was told that many of the file writing experts from Superchips jumped ship to Quantum.

So my honest advice is, and the tunes are designed to run on completely stock cars, is to go with this tune from Quantum. But hey, it's your car and money, so you may have a different preference if you are going down the mods route and then will need a proper rolling road tune. Again, these cars are designed really well in stock trim and CAI and exhaust changes won't gain that much along.

    I hope this info helps.

We have the same car and now I’m considering the same remap as you. I’m having different wheels put on by Rtec in St Albans so I may well go and check these guys out when I’m in the vicinity.
