They seemed pretty simple to fit.  Old ones out and new ones in. Especially the back ones !

    Now joining the KONI Club. Just got my Black Abarth KONI FSD Shocks and Red SS Springs. Now to book it in.

    Can't wait to see if I will feel the difference.

    Anybody tried fitting the shocks and replacement ss springs themselves? I have access to a car lift and know my way around cars a bit, tempted to give it a go...

    it's not to hard to swop shocks and springs just allow enough time for the front uprights the as GTMartin said have your tracking checked afterwards. Watch the youtube video of the std to ss conversion to see how easy it is.

    The rears take about 10 mins to change and dont require spring compressors  :thumb:

    The fronts are a little more awkward as the lock nuts on the top struts are a little hard to get at with the bonnet hinges ect.. in the way  :( (dont let the nut spin off and get hidden in the depths of the fire wall  :whistle:)
    and they do need spring compressors, but can still be done in about one and a half hours  :thumb:

    We are now also offering the genuine Abarth Assetto Koni Kit for the Abarth 500.  The Assetto Koni kit includes four Koni FSD dampers in black with Abarth logos, plus four esseesse springs for a lower stance.  The kit is available for £820 inc. VAT, but excluding P&P.

    The direct-from-Koni gold dampers are still available for those who already have esseesse springs fitted.

    Is it worth just changing the dampers and not adding the SS springs?

    Concerned the springs will make the ride too harsh.

    Its fine on normal springs but after 6 months or so I'm getting a set of SS springs, it really doesn't make the ride harsh.
