Had my 595 competizione for a few days now and loving it all bar the 5 inch touchscreen. After reading a few posts it appears that it is possible to do a  straight swap for the 7i nch unit but you need an unlock code for the new unit and Abarth need to do some sort of dark arts stuff to register the new unit with the body control unit in the car.

However after waiting two days for a call back from my local dealer without success I called a not so local dealer to be told that it cant be done at all - which i dont believe for one minute as the 7 inch was offered as an option on the 2017 vehicle.

Has anybody here successfully upgraded their 5inch screen to the 7inch version if so can i get some guidance.
