Coupe bump stops and remap to 180 bhp all book in for the 1st of March so cant wait :)

Going by what you guys have post the bp stops are going to make a huge difference.

New to forum so any information from you guys would be very much appreciated :)

    Got a pair of bumpstops yesterday for £14.14p ;)

    Shall try get them fitted this weekend.

    Hi mate where did you get your bump stops from also are they fiat coupe ones ?

    I got them through where I work. They are FEBI Bilstein ones.

    Look identical and are for a Fiat Coupe. I will get parts numbers later for you when I get them home.

    As requested.

    Here are the Febi Bilstein ones I purchased. You can see the part number in the photo. Cheapest on ebay seems to be around £14 per bumpstop so still a bit cheaper than the "genuine" Fiat ones.

    If you go on Febi Bilstein website it even marries up to the correct OE Fiat part number 7782710.

    I'm sure if you rang a supplier of Febi Bilstein such as your local motor factors or Euro car parts you could probaby get them for £10 each.

    Anyone with bump stops and 17s (without spacers) had any issues with the wheels scraping?

    Well this is quite a good thread!!  :thumb: Nice to see a little ''cheap'' and useful mod/upgrade even idiots (aka myself) can do!

    I've taken the plunge and bought a pair of Ebay, £14.39 each with free postage so quite good! I know people mentioned you might be able to get a tiny bit more off but tbh for the few pennies I didn't worry to much

    I'll post back like a few others have during the week my findings from the road use and fitting  :thumb:

    I had a quick look on ebay and nearly bought some of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/FEBI-36976-Fiat-500-1-4-Abarth-312-09-HATCH-BUMP-STOP-RR-/190980024289?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c774be7e1 but noticed that the Febi code they used was not the same as above, 36976 as opposed to 36979. Anyone know if there are two types?

    Last time I copied a link I was politely reminded about details on here (oppsss...) So my advise would be search FEBI 36979 Fiat On Ebay and that should give you a good few options. The number is the part number with Febi obviously the supplier. It should offer your items for a Fiat Coupe 2.0L which the part is officially designed for (as others have mentioned on this very thread). Hope this helps  ;D

    I`m pretty sure these (36976) are a replacement for the standard length bump stop.

    Mine arrived at 09.30 this morning, up and running by mid-day.

    Here is a photo of my old standard bumpstop against the new shorter one, which clearly shows the difference in length.
