Wheel Change
« on: July 14, 2020, 08:56:48 pm »
Thinking of changing my wheels for a set from ms-racing.
Anyone got any experience of these guys please?
Daft question! Does changing wheel affect the tyre pressure sensors?

No it won't. Tyre pressures are monitored by the abs sensors to detect wheel speed differences across the axle.

I have brought quite a few things from MS Racing without any issues so would recommend them  :thumb:

As above the Tpms are indirect which means they do not use Tyre pressure sensor mounted on the rim whereas direct tpms do.
The operation for indirect system is as GT Martin explained.

Thanks for the replies guys. Slight change of plan aS I have decided to go for a set of Oz formula HLT wheels from rtecshop in St Albans.

They seem to be very knowledgable and good over the phone & email customer service so far.
Will let you know how I get on.
