'Quiet' Monza problem identified
« on: March 02, 2011, 05:23:32 pm »
I have had my A500 for all of 2 weeks and was v disappointed with how quiet the Monza was.  I took the car into Bauer Millet today for a service and check over.  The valve on the exhaust is seized shut.  Their view was that it would snap if they tried to free it so they are referring to Abarth under warranty ;D.

Also asked them to fit a set of Koni FSDs (on standard springs).  I have only driven a few miles and i can confirm that the ride is transformed.  All that crashing and banging over imperfections on the road is gone.

A good day all round

... and tomorrow I am getting a visit from DMS  :thumb:

Glad to hear it is sorted (or getting sorted). More extreme version of the problem I had.  :thumb:
