595, Italian flag on steering wheel
« on: January 24, 2021, 09:25:45 pm »
I’ve seen an advert for a 2018 Competizione, it’s a private seller and the information on the advert is pretty limited.

I’ve noticed from photos that there is an Italian flag on the steering wheel and floor matts.

I’ve not noticed it on any other cars advertised and can’t seem to find any information as to whether it means anything specific, can anyone shed any light on it?

Here's a photo if that helps.  Notice on the floor matt it says 'Officine Abarth'

They could have cleaned it first...

The floor mats are originals, I have them in my car.  The steering wheel I'm not sure, might just be a sticker.

Yeh agreed, blows my mind when someone is trying to sell a £15k car that they can't be bothered to clean it.
If i do go and see it then i'll be going over it very closely to make sure it's been looked after.

Also, it might just be camera angle or its position, but the drivers mat looks a bit short.

The 695 Tributo Ferrari and 695C Edizione Maserati have the Italian flag on top of the steering wheel - could be that he got one of those?

    Thanks for the responses folks.

Another question, is there a way of telling from photo's whether a car has xenons or not?

Xenons have a chrome section that pops out when the washers are activated.

Tried to find a picture but found a video instead

With regards to the Italian flag, the picture above shows one at the base of the wheel.  The 695 Tributo Ferrari/Edizione Maserati have the it actually as part of the wheel at the top.

Thanks for the info about headlights, seems neither of the two I’m now looking at have demons which is annoying.

Regarding the Italian flag.  I’m now assuming it’s just a sticker, which is odd as it look to be an entirely standard car, so would be a touch random to chuck a sticker on the steering wheel.
