595 MTA clutch life?
« on: December 20, 2021, 02:46:32 pm »
Hi all,

Prior to looking to buy one of these, any experiences on how long the clutches tend to last? My experience with other semi-automatics is that they can need changing sooner than a normal manual ….

Thoughts? Experiences? Typical costs?

Thanks in advance!

I cannot help you on the life of the clutch as I've only done 22000 miles in my MTA.

I can say however, its an easy change on a diy basis having replaced the clutch on a very similar Panda Dualogic.

Thanks and interesting on the change. Any ideas what dealers and specialist charge for a change??

As said earlier, this was when I posed the question. However as there doesn't seem to be any horror stories about clutch wearing then we have to assume that it isn't really an issue and we can expect a life similar to that of a manual clutch system. Good news I guess ? :thumb:

Just don't reverse up a hill on a daily basis that will eat the clutch
