595 vs 595C vs sunroof
« on: August 03, 2021, 12:12:11 am »
Hi all I like cabriolet cars but the question is does having a C make the drive different? A lot of cars that were turned into cabrios loose their stiffness and stability in corners is this the case? I don’t think a sunroof would do but what are they like with a sunroof? If I go for a 595 it will either be a comp or an esseesse.

I noticed very slight scuttle shake in the C but nothing major. If I were to choose again I wouldn't bother with the C I was disappointed with the feel of it,it doesn't feel anything like a true convertible more like a very noisy large sunroof.I think your best bet would be a hardtop with a sunroof. That way you get the best of both worlds and improved luggage capacity and the extra security of not having a fabric roof. Also insurance is a lot higher for the C.

    Hello,

We bought a 595C Competizione 180bhp MTA. SLightly different situation in that the good lady wanted a pink Fiat 500 which I wouldn’t be seen either in or driving…. I then stumbled across a 2017 example in black and as soon as she realised it was a convertible the deal was done and I could breath easy.

Not really notice any shakes or rattles to be honest and 2 years on remain very happy - The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable Sabelt seats on a long journey but we take the old faithful Subaru Outback for those  ;D

    Best regards,
