70th Anniversary esseesse edition, looking to buy?
« on: June 21, 2020, 05:35:27 pm »
Hey guys,
Been looking at the 2020 esseesse 70th anniversary at Arnold Clark. They have pre-reg for £20,995

Does anyone have any thoughts on the car? I've had two previous Abarth models so I'm pretty familiar with the car itself. Sounds pretty high spec though.

Thanks - Keith

    Hi Keith,

Did you go for the Esseesse? I was looking at them too, but went for a low mileage, used Comp in the end.

    Looks like a good deal.

I would be put of by the white wheels, our 1st Abarth had white wheels, petals, with legends Blue paint and white stripes, looked awesome in the showroom, but as soon as you drove it they became dirty. and a pain to clean.

    But it is tempting deal

    Hi there,

Never went for that one in the end but I'm back on the game ....

Going to look at a 595 comp 180bhp in yellow today. Brand new £3500 off list price, and Arnold Shark are offering a pretty decent trade in value on our second car.

Will let you know if we end up getting it.

Well in typical Arnold Clark style we traveled all the way to Dundee and the car they had advertised wasn't there.

They did however have a red Comp with black stripes in Aberdeen. Got a decent deal and picked it up tonight. Pretty good so far. Will get a better run going to work tomorrow.
