A Black one!
« on: January 23, 2009, 11:44:17 am »
As requested last night I've posted some pics of a black Abarth 500. My cameras not great and the car hasn't been cleaned but at least it will give you an idea.

Don't worry about it John, just yanking your chain. On the subject of Black 500s I would like to see one with the red stipe kit though. Not that I'm going to change my sig.

    Cheers Portti

Gonna stick with grey even though its likely to be the most common colour.

I would think that white would be by far the most popular choice.  The basic white is the only colour which doesn't cost anything (at least on the continent) and it seems to be the most common colour at least in Germany.

At the moment there are 138 500A:s for sale in Germany in mobile.de. The colour statistics for those cars are:

White 69 cars (14 of them metallic)
    Grey 15 cars
    Black 10 cars
    Red 7 cars
    N/A 37 cars

There are some duplicate ads for same cars but those stats should give good indication on which colours are most popular in Germany.

By the way, I like the grey with the red stripes the best.

I still think its odd how every picture I've seen of the red leather no matter the camera makes it look really bright red but it isn't in the flesh, not quite as dark as the F500 red leather but isn't tart shoe red.

So the leather is darker than it appears in pictures then? I quite like the tart shoe red. :)

Black with red leather does look great, to be honest I don't think there is a dud colour really, but that combo does look very classy.

Yeah it is darker, thats whay I changed my mind. But you are right about the colour choices I wouldn't kick any of them out the garage so to speak.

IMO I have not seen a bad combination of colour/ stripe/interior. Its going to be a bugger for someone who has no preference.
