Well done Dom, you managed to make me smile before 10.00am, that doesn't happen often!!!
You are right though, a PCP does not stack up for the Esse Esse at the moment, but hopefully that will be put right soon.

Alough that pearl white is niceit looks an expensive option at £1000 euro's wonder what it will be over here?

Believe Funk White costs £700 on the standard 500, so should be the same.

The Funk White for the regular 500 costs the same as the pearl white for the Abarth in Germany so you could expect the price of the pearl white for the Abarth to be the same as the Funk White in the UK.

I checked on the german mobile.de which colour are the most popular in there.

There are 62 Abarth 500's for sale at the moment on mobile.de and 48 of them has colour data defined. The colours on those are:

    White   28   58 %
    Black   8   17 %
    Grey   7   15 %
    Red   5   10 %
    Total   48   100 %

White is divided into metallic (6 cars (13%)) and non-metallic (22 cars (46%))

I must admit there is one thing which I think the extra perfomance demands and I'd love to see offered or even fitted as standard to further set the Abarth apart from standard 500s and thats to have xenon headlights fitted.
Failing that, maybe a pair of spotlamps like the MINIs have?
    Any thoughts anyone?

Not suprised by the colour mix, 62% of Fiat 500 registered in the U.K. are Bosa Nova white.
With reference to the xenons, I am in complete agreement. I had xenons on a Bravo sporting, and whilst expensive at £700, I thought it was worth every penny.

Yup, Xenons are a feature I love on my Lupo GTI and throwing the 100HP around country lanes at night is a slightly different experience because of the lack of them.

    John,
Would you be kind enough to ask Abarth whether there might be a chance of them doing xenons at all please?

    Thanks
    Dave

I can ask the question, but I think they will just ask Fiat for the uptake rate for xenons on Bravo. That option is very rarely taken up on Bravo, so commercally, it is probably not viable.
You will probably now all say "but this is a sports car and I want them!!!" which is a fair point, but Abarth is still a buisness that needs to make money. I have no idea how much it would cost for the R+D department to modify the car, but its never going to be cheap.

Is it correct that if you have xenons then you must have headlight washers as well?

Yes, that's correct for xenons but not for the projector beam type affairs that cars like the Puma and some Puntos have.
