Beware many independent repairers will not fit customer supplied items because of warranty issues.

Prices for cam belt change start from £200 inc parts so worth shopping around.

Does anyone know what the manufacturer of the original abarth timing belt kit is? Of if any of these are atleast as good as the original.

I shouldn't have trouble getting it fitted as I know someone local who I should be able to trust.

Dunno what make Eurocarparts do, but I'd recommend steering clear of their lower cost brands for cambelts - they were responsible for the deaths of lots of Pug 306 GTi6s because the cambelt tensioner slipped after a few miles, leaving the cambelt flopping around; not what you want in an interference engine which cant even tolerate 1 tooth being out :o

Thanks again all. I was just about to order the original one from here though I've just noticed this one on ebay. It says it's genuine so I'm assuming it's the original one. If so It's the cheapest original one I've found at £85. However before I order it, I notice it says Abarth 500 and doesn't mention 595. Is it the same timing belt in the Abarth 500 & 595 or a different one?

It gives you their 'phone number, why not ring and ask. Take a look at the website they are main dealers for Jeep and Fiat, not however, for Abarth.

Thanks, appreciate that although I have just ordered the one from eBay. Slightly more but its the dealer plus they confirmed it fits so I'm happy with that. Major service is due in February so just need to get the rest of the stuff by then, so far just got the Timing Belt Kit & pollen filter. I like getting the stuff bit by bit as it doesn't feel as expensive that way.
