Hi guys.
Having a bit of a nightmare with this one.
Bought an after market head unit with dab radio function.
Bought one of the splitter devices so that I can use the car aerial for both fm and the dab signal.
However the problem I have is that this can't be used with an amplified aerial, which I believe the A500 has.
Don't really want to have a dab aerial stuck on the window.
I believe there may be a separate small amplifier for the aerial, so my hope was I could locate this and disable it.
I have seen one for sale on eBay for a 2011 model which mine is.
At least then I can see what the signal is like, and if rubbish then revert to another option.
I cannot for the life of me find out where this small amplifier is based.
I have gone right back to the aerial on the roof and it's not under the roof lining near the aerial.
Can anyone help me out here please?
Otherwise I may have to buy another aerial for the roof with dual feeds for fm and dab.
