Amazing response to new A500

I have to say I really surprised at the way people keep looking and asking me about my A500.

I parked outside PC world and when I came out there were people walking round the car checking it over.

Anyone else experienced this type of attention?

    get used to it. came out of pets at home and a guy was taking a picture of my AGP.

    My colleague mentioned that he'd seen an A500 in his rearview at the weekend before then telling about the 8C that was cruising round our home town  :o

    Get used to it!

    I have had crowds of people poking around it before, people rolling down their windows at traffic lights to ask about it etc etc.  A guy in a 911T chased me through town to ask me about it one night.

    It really does provoke warm reactions!

    i have had lots of people stop and stare and someone croossing some traffic lights where i had stopped started asking me all about it! seems people really like the car.

    I get people pointing and staring at my 300C all the time, but the A500 has hardly been noticed by anyone. I've only had it a week and I'm sure it will gather more interest when the lighter nights come in!

    Had my first reaction this morning when I parked outside the newsagent.

    A twentysomething guy and his girlfriend were pointing at my car as they approached and had a good look thru the windows. As they walked past, the bloke spotted the esseesse badging and a lengthy discussion ensued. I hid inside the shop and waited until they'd gone before I drove off. :whistle:

    I've been surprised by the reaction of my wife to the new arrival. She was totally ambivalent about it as it's not a pair of shoes or a hand bag; and is neither an automatic or a convertible (she's got an SLK) :P.

    However, I took her out in it last night for the first time and she absolutely loves the cabin and the whole car in general, not to mention the stares we were getting from other road users/pedestrians.

    She now wants me to include her on the insurance so she can go posing around town and generally show off to all her mates.

    She never had any inclination to drive my 996S ???.
