Update - thanks to GMP the car has been recovered almost immediately, and found locked up. Probably awaiting their return seeing if it had a tracker fitted. Just got the hassle of a sweep of new locks to deal with.

That is good news, it could have been far worst. How did they steal the car?

Broke into the house whilst family were asleep to get the keys. I got woken by a slamming door of the wife`s Turismo and the sound of the exhaust. Screamed out of the bedroom window at 2 of the ****s who were about to get in my Comp, who then legged it.
The Turismo was found locked up and abandoned, reckon they were waiting to see if it had a tracker. If the Old Bll hadn`t found it quick they`d have been back to collect it and it would have been broken down into parts by now.
Unfortunately the wife`s a bit wary of the Turismo now, it might be going on the market when we get it back. Pity as we`ve onwned it 5 years and she loves it. Or is it loved it.
Unfortunately my Comp is now off the road due to a full key and locks change, and the wife`s Turismo is in the Police compound awaiting a forensic check.

Does anyone know why thefts of these cars seems to be on the increase? I’ve only had mine since weds but am already paranoid leaving it anywhere, I have taken some measures to protect it but it’s shocking how easy these seem to nick, I can’t understand how these cars that have been around for over 10 years have recently become so popular to the thief’s
