Sometimes mine does it at the slightest provocation and then it'll go almost silent for a month  ??? Did get a triple on Sunday so that made me feel warm and fuzzy  8)

Ok been experimenting with fuel again. The A500 (or should i say my A500) definitely backfires more on standard unleaded. Tried 2 Super UL tanks in a row now, felt quicker to be fair, but not as many pops. Coincidence? Or is there some logic behind this?

p.s. just made an awesome video, rear mounted camera OMFG the exhaust sounds 1,000,000 % better than i thought it did from outside! And so many backfires! Wait till upload it, it's worth watching! Who needs a Monza!  ;D

It's something in the Welsh air, that's why we had fire breathing Dragon's in times gone by  ;D

Monzas take a while to get louder I think. Mine is now for ever popping especially with a bit of "spirited driving"..... ;D

You won't be able to miss it when it happens.

Must say it gives me a wee thrill every time!

Mines doesn't seem to do it as much as DF's though.

Floor throttle, quick change at mid to high revs, that's about it. Use standard UL, seems to work better. Just need to experiment more pal  :)

Mine can't help but backfire, even when i'm not trying. Nice pops on the down change also, just seems to happen but I find a nice quick change between 2nd and 3rd, 3rd and 4th around 4000 rpm does the trick.
