Confused by model options
« on: April 12, 2015, 09:58:41 am »
Hi Guys,

Ive been thinking for a while of comming back to the brand. I had a GPA in 2009 - 2010 and became disolusioned with a couple of things - especially the lack of dealer network when i had problems, but now there is one closer so we are on the hunt again.

At the moment i am slightly confused by all the different 500 options - 500, 500 custom? 595 turismo and 595 competizione.

Can someone explain the main differences between to different options?

Your help is must appreciated!

Tom

Ok, it's easy when you know!

     500 Custom
That's what some call the "base model". (There is no such thing as a "500" model)

If you go for a new one you get: (I've just changed from a 2015 model from a 2012 & can vouch for the improvements)

140bhp, the Euro 6 gives about that despite it officially giving 135.....
Koni FSDs, this has massivllly improved the ride, esp on 17s

    Cloth interior

    16" wheels

The reason it's called a "custom" is that you have a whole suite of options

(We went for Legends Blue, white stripes, 5 spoke "competizione" wheels, parking sensors (it's not that easy to see out the back) and fixed sunroof)

    Turismo

    160 bhp

    17" multi spokes

    Koni FSDs uprated springs

    Leather interior

There may be others, but I can't remember....

    Competizione
180 bhp just been announced, deliveries soon to dealers
17 wheels (design to be confirmed)
    Sabelt race style seats
    Xenons
    Brembos
And maybe others to be announced.

So there are three models, you just need time on the configurator

There is a fair jump in price between, talk to your dealer, there are more around, which helps.

    Nice one Richard  :thumb:

As outlined above, main differences are power levels and performance kit, followed by trim levels.
