Title: Check DRL message

Hi
I hve just had the check DRL warning pop up on the dash. The DRL's work fine until you put the headlights on, then the drivers side DRL goes out completely and the nearside is slightly on ! Looks really weird and have go idea what has caused this. Gas anyone experienced similar goings on, or is it a dealer return job? Thanks in advance. S
