I went to look at a GPA a few weeks back but really would prefer a 500A if I can fit in one (okish in a standard 500). I was just wondering if any of the dealers have a clue as to when they may be getting a demo even if it s a LHD like Alfa did with the Mito?

Kevin at Rockingham was brilliant but he was embarrassed to admit they were unlikely to get one before the launch. Seems odd that Abarth chose some great dealers to sell the cars but then seem to be doing very little to support them.

We are still hoping to have 500 demos just before christmas. That is still not certain, but is a possiblility.
There will definately not be any LHD ones supplied as Mito was. The Mitos are only in the showrooms so that customers can see the shape and lines of the car and they are not to be driven under any circumstances.
At least with 500 you can go to the showroom to look at a Fiat 500 to get the idea of lines and size, and drive a G.P. Abarth as the power to weight ratio will be about the same.

To olopboy, I've had a look at the Mito in the show room and think it looks really good in the flesh, and the interior is great. BUT in the end I went for the Abarth 500 as I think it will just feel that bit more fun and that bit more special. Either way you'll end up with a gorgious car. Why not wait til January if you're not sure and you can then test drive them both.
