G force on a series 3 displays differently to the series 4.

Series 3, has a picture of the car with bars that light up: http://best-car-reviews.com/2014/04/24/2015-fiat-500-500c-and-abarth-get-welcome-upgrades/

Series 4 has the cross, https://rmsmotoring.com/road-test/abarth-595-turismo/

If you have the facelifted bumpers/lights its a S4.

To get the G-force display, press the button on the end of the light/wiper stalk.  Short press to cycle through.
Trip A (2 pages, distance, time, average consumption) then it goes to Trip B if enabled in menu, there's a basic tyre pressure indicator, instant consumption and G-force.  It just loops around if you keep pressing.

Funny thing is, now I can't find my one!  I know it was on at least one S4 I took on test drive but to be honest I usually leave it on Trip A's average consumption.

I get Trip A, B, instant, navigation, radio display, tyres but no G-Force.

Just read somewhere else it only comes up if the radio is off.  Will have to give that a try another day.

your instructions were perfect yes on trip b. I left it on in sport mode today you can't see anything else bar the speed you are travelling and the g cross.  Not sure about the radio thing it worked while playing music via a USB stick

I usually leave it playing usb stick rather than radio but I thought I'd give it a try. Radio off via button on unit as it works. Now, there is a menu option that allows radio repetition, which basically displays track name in the centre where the trip/gforce is shown. I'm wondering if I turn this off if I'll get it working when radio is on.

Annoyingly I can't find it documented in manual. There's other bits missing like audio format support as USB file format (FAT32, NTFS, exFAT) that's not documented either.

    I tested it out today.

Radio Repeat on > no g-force unless head unit is turned off.
Radio Repeat off > g-force available regardless of head unit on/off

Not sure if there is a limitation on the number of pages available.  So would it work with radio repetition enabled if you disabled the navigation or phone display instead I'm not sure.

This is my second Abarth and only had it a week a 2016 595 in black and white it has a lot more toys than my previous 500. I was waiting for the Abarth 500x but that never happened, So still getting my head around it all. The forum is great to speak to others who have found how to and have experience in etc as you say the handbook doesn't have everything in it. I need to somehow update my navigation maps at some point so I yes will hopefully find a how-to on here.
