Title: Has anyone else had the recall for a radio update.

Hi,
I took my 2017 comp, in today for a software update on the head unit, which was a product recall I received a couple of weeks ago.
After 4 hours of waiting I get told that the update has destroyed my head unit and they need to order a new one!!
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

I've had the recall, but waiting for another part to come in, so I've not booked it in yet. A bit wary now.

Do you know exactly what went wrong during the update

no they would say. My screen is stuck saying "updating this should take 30 mins don't remove USB stick."
To make matters worse they're having to a new unit in from Italy, and wont be here until the 28th. That'll be the best part of a month without. Shocking service :(

The recall is for the blank screen issue
