Headlamp Socket '09 Abarth 500
« on: March 21, 2021, 01:36:04 pm »
Can anyone help? I was replacing the dipped beam driver's side bulb yesterday. Someone offered to 'help' and broke the tab off that clicks the socket into place in the headlight assembly. Now, the new bulb won't stay in place and the socket doesn't click in to locate it.

I don't think I can use a universal socket, as it needs to fit the headlight assembly to click into place. Looking online, the part seems to have changed now. I've added a screen grab of what mine looks like.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?

Surely there are Fiat 500's in breakers? Ring round a few I would suggest.
    Abarth 500C MTA , Abarth 595 Competzione MTA 180 , Porsche 911S , Porsche Cayenne.
