Well I've gone and done it! put my deposit down on Rockingham's list after a long drive in a 500 and a run in a GPA esse esse. Although I will admit they've agreed that if I don't fit well in the 500A I can swap to a GPA with the deposit. While I was chatting to their 'spare' Abarth specialist he said they had around 30 deposits some of which I assume are from the website. So this got me wondering how may pre-orders roughly are out there. The 200 website ones are definitely used up but are there a few more say 100 more or a lot more say 500-1000 more out there. Go one ask your dealer next time you speak to them and ask them for a ball park figure. It could give us a rough idea how long a wait us early birds may have.

Oh and I didn't have to actually spec the car but I'm going for Grey with black leather and black stripes, B&M  map prep and thats the lot. Hifi comes as standard just like the GPA according to the latest spec so that's great. I will prob get the map and see about getting an alarm fitted by them, hopefully the normal 500 one will fit.

Now it's just the long wait.
