Interesting track time
« on: April 17, 2009, 01:25:35 pm »
I was just browsing the top gear website when I saw the lap time of the Abarth 500. Stands up quite well against the Focus ST and the Civic type R. I think the esseesse would be as quick, if not slightly quicker than both the ST and Type R round thier track. I was quiet suprised how close it was to them both. Here are the times:

Fiat 500 Abarth - 1.35.5
Ford Focus ST - 1.34.9
Honda Civic Type - 1.33.5

Performance Car tracked the AGP faster than a civic type-r, i'm guessing they are refering to the new Type-R.

You can not take these Topgear times seriously, half of them were by the first Stig and they are all under different driving conditions, its just more for fun than factual lap times.

Some of the times are a joke like the Noble M12 GTO in 1.33.1 or that a Focus RS,  RX8 or 535D is faster than a 350bhp Esprit V8 twin turbo, the more i look at them the more of a laugh it becomes.
ITS HERE!!!: Abarth 500, BN White, red leather, climate, skydome, red stripes/mirrors, 10 spoke 17".
