Interscope Subwoofer speaker replacement

My underseat subwoofer speaker is crackling.  I don't want to spend a fortune on a replacement as I like to hear my car, but I would like it working.  Has anybody replaced the speaker from within the subwoofer?

I'm ideally looking for a 13cm speaker, I can just solder the 4 speaker wires onto and screw down into the existing case.  I don't know a lot about speakers so I am not sure what am looking for  ???

    My subwoofer was crackling too, just removal the sub then take out the speaker and just take the speaker to fix it...very cheap!!!

    PS: the guy who fix for me, he asked me is it come from a Ferrari ;D

    Hello All,

    I know this topic is a long time 'closed' but I have an Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari and the subwoofer has seemingly blown, as it just crackles with any bass input.

    I was looking at replacements on Ebay but it seems that as I have Sabelts, I need a particular sub that fits under the Sabelts (not lowered) with a bracket?

    Can anyone advise part number, can the existing one be repaired, etc etc? ie quickest/easiest fix?
